Voting Wrapping Up for #ID Best of Year

svelte-boy-product2Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards is once again allowing votes for this year’s candidates, and J.L. Anthony’s made-to-measure luxe motorized solution, Svelte, is in the running in the Window Treatments category.

To support the voting effort, JLA is running an active social media program on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, including ads highlighting the product attributes and time/budget savings of this amazing product line.

Offered to-the-trade only, Svelte addresses both the red-hot home-automation market and the current demand for modern and minimalist drapery hardware. JLA anticipates that combining the components into easy-to-specify and order systems will make motorized luxury draperies a more accessible design choice.

“The demand for home automation and modern designs are forcing designers to use skinny metal poles with less-than-desirable automated tracks, says JLA’s Philip Clemmons. “The fit and finish is often a problem too, so with Svelte we’ve bridged those dilemmas with a sleek, sophisticated solution.”

According to Clemmons, motorized hardware that previously had to be hidden in a pocket or valance can now be showcased with a variety of metal looks and wooden finishes. Simple, sleek finial treatments and mitered returns add to the modern design aesthetic.

Svelte installs like any other decorative hardware, and many of the motor systems are plug-n-play. Ordering complete Svelte systems also saves time (using Somfy Glydea motors and one of the 9 available finishes ensures a two-week production time) and trouble ordering tracks and decorative fascia separately. Freight charges, admin and design times are all greatly reduced, as is the potential for errors.
